ArtGuitar® was developed by Colorado artist and technology entrepreneur Steve Spurgeon in 2005. Using an exclusive, patented process, ArtGuitars have beauty and uniqueness beyond hand painted instruments, but are also offered as one of a kind or limited editions.
In 2009, Music Gaming Enterprises, LLC signed an exclusive license to the ArtGuitar® technology and produced the first full size, full weight, wooden guitar game controller called the RiffMaster®. The controller works with both the Rock Band® and Guitar Hero® games. ArtGuitar continues to expand its licensing partners in both music and non-music genres and will produce custom ‘’one off’’ units on request.
